21 years a member of SPEBSQSA, or to be more politically correct, Barbershop Harmony Society. Long ago gave up the fantasy of becoming a Basso Profundo, but enjoy four-part harmony, and following the lead of other (more experienced?) basses. Highlight of Barbershop endeavors was being awarded Man of the Year recognition while serving as Chapter President of the Au Sable Valley Chorus in 1981. Have 6 Man of Note pins, and believe wholeheartedly that Keeping America Singing is indeed a good thing we do!
